An example of the kind of build we do, not a client story. The persona is illustrative; the pain points are real in how this work actually runs.
Morning dispatch sheet for a plumbing and electrical company
Who
The owner-dispatcher of a residential service company who assigns the day's calls on a whiteboard and then phones or texts each technician individually every morning.
The pain points
Jobs come in by phone and email, get written on the office whiteboard, and each morning she spends 45 minutes texting five techs their addresses, gate codes and job notes, then re-texting when the day shuffles. Techs miss updates, show up at the wrong address, or call in to ask what's next.
Big-name dispatch software quoted several hundred dollars per month and assumed a full office staff to run it.
What we would build
A simple hosted dispatch board: she drags jobs onto each tech's day, and every tech automatically gets an email or text day-sheet at 6:30 a.m. plus an instant notification when their schedule changes. Each job entry holds the address, contact, and notes.
That's the whole tool: no invoicing, no GPS tracking, no CRM.
