Privacy Policy

Prometheus Labs is a small software company based in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. This policy covers this website, our inquiry form, and our products in general. Each product may add its own notice; the Photo Admin policy lives at photoadmin.prometheuslabs.ca/privacy.

This website

There are no accounts and no tracking cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard server logs (such as IP address, request, and browser type) to serve and protect the site. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits; it sets no cookies, stores no personal profile, and does not track you across sites. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam; Turnstile evaluates the request without tracking you across sites.

When you send us an inquiry

The contact form collects your name, email address, optionally a phone number, and whatever you choose to tell us about your problem, current software, preferences, and budget. We use it for one purpose: assessing and replying to your inquiry, including preparing a quote if you ask for one.

Submissions are stored on our infrastructure at Cloudflare, and the notification and confirmation emails are delivered by Resend. Both providers may process data outside Canada, including in the United States. We keep submissions for up to 24 months, then delete them. To see, correct, or delete what you sent us sooner, email hello@prometheuslabs.ca and we'll take care of it.

When you email us

If you email hello@prometheuslabs.ca, we receive your message and email address so we can reply.

Purchases

When you buy a paid product, our payment processor (Stripe) collects the details needed to take the payment. We receive your email address and order details so we can deliver what you bought and provide support. We never receive or store your card details. See Stripe's privacy policy.

Your files stay yours

Our desktop apps run on your own computer. Photo Admin never uploads your photos and makes no network connection that includes your photo data. Custom-built desktop tools follow the same rule: your files stay on your machine unless the design we agree on says otherwise.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
